Hey there everyone, yes it has been nearly two weeks (trust me I know, I've been s busy I haven't had time to even think) so I thought it was about time for an update. By that I mean I found a cute craft idea online, Pinterest obviously ;) and decided to share it with you along with the website I used.

Right well to start off with I was browsing Pinterest for ways to spice up my boring looking room when I stumbled across this bad boy. So I followed the link to a website that provided free net templates to create 3D paper shapes. (Click the pic to open in a new window ;) ).

So this was cool enough in itself but I decided that white printer paper wasn't doing it for me so went online and found a pastel kind of tribal pattern to use. Don't worry there are plenty of patterns out there so just go crazy ;).

I then printed out the net of the shape on one side of the paper then turned it over and printed the pattern on the back of it, trust me it makes sense. This is so there aren't black lines where you cut and fold on the pattern you chose, which also makes it easier to see the net when cutting it out on the white on the other side.

Then with a moderate amount of difficulty I glued the correct bit together and ended up with my own little star. I then suspended it by a piece of string from the ceiling and taa daa!! A cute, boho room decoration which cost next to nothing to make and looks pretty awesome if you ask me ;).

I hope you liked this little crafty update and I hope to share more of this, similar to my tie dye I did a while ago. If you try this then good luck and ill be back soon :)
